Clippings Folders

FeedDemon's clippings folders enable you to store news items in a central location, providing a handy way to collect items from different feeds. If you find an interesting item that you might want to read again, just clip it for future reference.

Why would I use a clippings folders?

A clippings folder is useful whenever you want to store items. If you're a researcher, you could use a clippings folder to hold items that may help in your research. If you're a blogger, you may use one to keep track of items you'll blog about in the future.

Why would I use a clippings folder instead of a watch?

A watch automatically collects items containing specific keywords, whereas clippings provides a way to manually collect items. Since the contents are defined entirely by you, you have complete control over what goes into a clippings folder.

To create a clippings folder: Click the arrow on the Subscribe toolbutton and select New Clippings Folder.
To copy an item to a clippings folder: In the news item list, right-click on the news item then select Copy to Clippings Folder. In a newspaper, simply click the Copy to Clippings Folder button.
